Professional development
Following my studies in Conflict Resolution at Antioch University/USA I began a professional career as a conflict worker in the streets of Zurich. In 1999 I was part of the team that brought the
Midnight Basketball project to Switzerland after which I worked for the city of Zurich for seven years helping to create a team that combined social work and the call to order in public open city spaces. As part of the ground floor development team I helped establish the method of the work as well as becoming the first to apply the interventions in the street. This work led to experiences and tools that have proven helpful to many professionals in the field in Switzerland and elsewhere. In the year 2005 I began collaborating with the
office for violence prevention in the city of Zurich and started to work in schools that were facing conflicts. After having completed my Process Work studies in Zurich, I founded the company
Schulkraft an affiliate of changefaclitation ltd. and embarked on my path as a Process Work teacher, trainer and faculty member in Switzerland and Russia. Through changefacilitation ltd., I conducted trainings in the area of communication, customer relations, threat assessment, and dealing with violence and aggression. Following the success of
Teachers Empowered and Youth Workers Empowered, I translated those concepts into areas of personality development and leadership training. Out of these programs emerged my latest passion, the development and implementation of
Soft Skills.
